Wine Soiree Fundraiser 2024

After COVID shut downs, the La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club undertook its first in-person fund raiser in many years. On April 26, 2024 we gathered at Cecil’s Lounge at the Faculty Club with its welcoming outdoor/indoor space and unique decor. Nearly 100 friends, supporters and club members showed up with wide smiles and open check books. The club raised over $18,000...but more importantly, we lifted our spirits in addition to lifting our wine glasses. Our Rotary friends from Mexico were a huge part of the success adding their support by providing wine, donating a resort stay and even some attending in person. Headed by Chairman Extraordinaire, Garry Kachkovsky, we assembled a team of Rotarians that worked together and had FUN. The fellowship, the funds raised and the fraternity all made this an event to be preserved and promoted for years to come. Everyone in the Club supported the effort in some way, so we extend a big THANK YOU to the entire membership.
