Urban Street Angels 2023

On 6-7-23, members of our La Jolla Golder Triangle Rotary Club took a visit to Urban Street Angels, an organization that we have made speaker donations to for the last 2 years. This organizations takes homeless people, ages 18-24, who have aged out of the foster care programs and gives then shelter and 3 meals a day for up to 9 months. In order to stay, they must have a job or go to school, meet with a counselor twice a week and meet several other requirements. The facility is beautiful and the semi private dorms are nice but not luxurious. The food is also good. Members of the Club helped prepare and serve the evening meal for those present.
